This, coupled with a growing concern over the potential vaporisation and subsequent inhalation of phthalates, has resulted in the development of this new phthalate- & PVC-free, PureHose pf® that is fully compliant with all the most recent specifications and conforms to BS EN ISO 5359:2008 (2014) + A1:2011. PureHose pf® hose does not contain plasticiser of any form, it does not work harden and will not expose patients to any potentially harmful phthalate vapours. The material is designed to be used in areas that require static dissipation. As such, all the mating surfaces are made from ESD material with a surface resistivity of 1.1E11 Ω/Sq when tested to ASTMD 257.
